Use of the CXS in a system or flammable process that causes the ingress of metallic particles into the pump
combination system.
Use of the CXS/EH Pump combination system in ambient conditions other than those specified in Section 2.1.
Pumping pyrophoric gases.
Use with oxygen enriched atmospheres.
Use of the CXS/EH Pump combination system with any of the flameproof entries or flamepaths open to the
atmosphere.
1.3 Description
The CXS/EH Pumping combination system has been developed to combine the CXS pumping system with the EH
Mechanical booster pump to provide a complete pumping system package capable of high pumping speeds.
The CXS/EH pumping combination system integrates the EH mechanical booster with the CXS to enable a single set
of customer services connections and control interfaces. All electrical controls and safety functions are via the CXS
pumping system and general operational control can be via the display module or other remote interfaces such as
MCM MicroTIM.
