● "Unit linear measurements": selection of unit of measure used in displaying linear
measurements in millimeters and inches.
● "Measurement unit temperature": selection of unit of measure used in temperature
display between ° C and ° F.
● "Radius knives": mechanical measurement of the radius of the blades on the
machine. The correct setting of this parameter is essential for the proper
management of the weld.
● "Ramp phase variation": value of the acceleration / deceleration used during the
phase variations or resynchronization following the passage of an axis in front of its
photocell. High values of this parameter determine faster and responsive changes
but potentially “ jerky “ response.
● "Distance chain knives": mechanical measurement of the distance between the
chain's photocell and the knives' photocell. The correct setting of this parameter is
essential for the correct automatic calculation of product phase
● "Size chain": mechanical measurement of the distance between the chain's
photocell and point of passage of the material from the chain to the knives. The
correct setting of this parameter is essential for the correct automatic calculation of
product phase
● "Number of periods emergency FTC": number of working cycles after which, if there
is no transition of the photocells of the axes, the machine enters a state of
emergency ( possibility of abnormality that prevents the correct execution of the
working cycle ). In case of parameter set to zero, this control is disabled. For the
management of film's tag/flag , this control is executed when tag/flag function is
turned on. In case of intervention of this control during a work cycle , thecycle is
interrupted and the message "Emergency FTC <axis>" is visualized.
On the right side of the screen there are two buttons that allow the saving and loading from
a USB key of all software settings, to allow rapid start-up of the machine at first start up.
Pressing the "LOAD" button , will display the list of files with the extension .cfg in the USB
stick. To load one of these configurations , simply select the file you want to upload and
press the button at the top right of the screen.
