1.1 Standards
Your Elcometer 1535 Multi Function Scratch Tester can be used in accordance
with the following national and international standards:
• ASTM D 3359
• DIN EN ISO NF 2409
• DIN 53167
• DIN 53799
• ISO 4586
1.2 What the box contains
• Elcometer 1535 Multi Function Scratch Tester
• DIN cutting tool, 1 mm (or 0.5 mm, on request) and tool holder
• Air filter
• Vacuum ‘VENTURI’ device fitted inside of the instrument (only with models
fitted with a vacuum table)
• Hexagonal wrench (for removing tool holder)
• Large wrench (for magnetic table)
• Operating instructions
Your Elcometer 1535 Multi Function Scratch Tester is packed in a cardboard
and foam package. Please ensure that this packaging is disposed of in an
environmentally sensitive manner. Consult your local Environmental Authority
for further guidance.
Safe handling : Two man lift using integral handles. Install on to a suitable flat
surface that can withstand 45kg.
