12 Troubleshooting Tables

PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY

1. Improper mixing of product. 1. Follow mixing instructions on product

label

2. Adjustment screw not properly set. 2. Adjust screw for proper consistency.

See Section 10.2, Adjusting Product

Consistency.

3. Lower torque spring not connected. 3. Install torque spring. See Section 10.2,

Adjusting Product Consistency.

Product too

thick.

4. Component failure. 4. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service.

1. Cup seal leaking or improperly installed. 1. Replace cup seal or install properly. Leakage of

product from

drain tube.

2. Beater shaft assembly damaged. 2. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service

1. Head quad ring defective. 1. Replace quad ring.

2. Hand knobs not drawn up properly. 2. Tighten hand knobs (hand tighten only).

3. Damaged or worn o-ring on the plunger

assembly.

3. Replace and lubricate o-rings on

plunger assembly.

Product leaking

around head.

4. Damaged head assembly. 4. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service

1. Insufficient supply of mix. 1. Fill hopper at least 1/3 full – keep

hopper this full at all times.

2. Improper mixing of product. 2. Follow mixing instructions on product

label.

3. Worn blades. 3. Replace blades.

4. Freezer not level. 4. Level freezer.

Freezer

vibrates.

5. Low on refrigerant. 5. Contact your Electro Freeze Distributor

for service
