11.2.2. Daily maintenance
Caution: Before performing any maintenance, stop the engine and remove the
ignition key. Wear appropriate clothing.
• Check for signs of leakage.
• Open the shredding chamber. (see Section 11.3.4, page 53)
• Clean the machine. (see Section 9.7.1, page 40)
• Check the condition of the blades and sharpen them if necessary; also check that the blades
are securely fastened. (see Section 11.5.1, page 61)
• Check the machine for signs of abnormal wear or cracks.
• Check the impeller for signs of abnormal wear or cracks.
• Check the bolts (blades, wheels, bearings, engine, etc.).
• Check the engine oil level. (see Section 11.4.1, page 56)
11.2.3. Maintenance after 5 hours of use
Caution: Before performing any maintenance, stop the engine and remove the
ignition key. Wear appropriate clothing.
• Conduct daily maintenance. (see Section 11.2.2, page 50)
• Clean the air cleaner. (see Section 11.4.3, page 57)
• Check torque on 24 blade bolts.

• Conduct daily maintenance. (see Section 11.2.2, page 50)
• Check the condition of the blades and sharpen them if necessary (see Section 11.5.1, page 61)
• Check belt tension.

• Conduct daily maintenance. (see Section 11.2.2, page 50)
• Change the engine oil. (see Section 11.4.2, page 57)
• Grease various grease fittings. (see Section 11.5.8, page 72)
