Notethattemperaturemeasurementonmeasurementsystemsintheopenairmaybeinuenced
bytheambienttemperature.Forthisreason, themetering elements outside the pipe should
be adequately insulatedagainstambienttemperatureinuences. In order to achieve optimum
thermalconduction,youshouldalsoalwaysllthethermowell(s)withaheat-conductiveuidor
paste.
Ifno temperaturetest pointsinthe meterhousingarescheduled, the temperature must be
measured in the pipe downstream of the turbine gas meteratadistanceofupto3xDN,but
max.600mmaway.
