The Trigger Button
The following functions are activated with the Trigger button:
Press the Trigger button once
Press the Trigger button for 3s
Exception ( dito is in Start Mode )
Press the Trigger button once
Single: Press Trigger button once
Cont : Discharging as long as the Trigger button is pressed.
Auto: Press Trigger button once, the test runs automatically. Pressing Trigger button again
stops the test procedure.
dito is operated with the help of an easy to
use menu structure, based on 5 function keys
, the and the Trigger button.
The desired functions are selected with the 5 function keys. The selected function is blinking.
The displayed value is always related to the actual selected parameter.
Functions, which are related to fixed parameters, are changed by multiple pressing of the related function
key, e.g. Trigger mode: Single-Cont-Auto
Numerical parameters are changed using the .
First the parameter is changed in 1 digit steps. After 10 steps without pause the parameter will be increased by 10
digit steps for example 12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,32,42...112,212...
With a short pause in between pressing the the 1 digit steps will be continued:
1,2,3,4,5,6,Pause <0.5s, 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,27,37...
The correct input is confirmed by pressing the Trigger button or another function key.
- Input confirmation if key Beep is ON
- Indicates that dito is ready for a new air discharge. e.g. for rep=5s a single beep will be generated 5s
after the previous discharge
A double beep always indicates warnings or failures.
- No or wrong discharge Module
- No discharge relays available
- Test voltage not reached or not correct
- Pre-discharge (air discharge occurred before the selected test voltage was reached)
- Battery voltage too low to generate high voltage.
- Test is finished
- dito has shut down (switched OFF)
Battery Condition
The battery symbol shows the actual condition of the battery.
100%-80% Battery is charged
10% - 0% Battery is discharged, HV generation is disabled
