The serial-number and the version-number is necessary to guarantee full traceability of the instrument. These numbers also
are listed in the test report, which is generated within esd.control.
Error messages
Pre-Discharge
The discharge occurs before dito reached the charging voltage. Therefore the applied voltage is out of the tolerance. The
discharge tip is too near to the EUT.
Help: Increase the distance from the discharge dip to the EUT. (Approach fast to the EUT)
Voltage too low
The discharge tip has a direct contact to the EUT or the distance to the EUT is too low. Therefore it is not possible to charge
the discharge module.
Help: Increase the distance from the discharge tip to the EUT. (Approach fast to the EUT).
No Discharge-Module
No discharge module is connected to the dito.
No Discharge Relays
The connected discharge module has no relays built in for contact discharge. Replace the discharge module.
Battery voltage too low for high voltage
The Battery voltage is too low. dito is not able to charge to the selected test voltage
Help: Charge or replace the battery .
