Apart from being P-NET controlled, the LPU can simultaneously be controlled locally from e.g. an
emergency control. From the connected controllers/workstations it is possible to check whether the
LPU is locally operated either by internal or by the external push buttons. It is possible to have an
alarm indication activated when the LPU is locally operated.
