Unit drawing too much current
Reason: • Mechanical resistance in motor
• Mechanical resistance in pump
• Too small winding resistance in motor meaning a 110 V motor has been used instead of 230 V
motor
• Too high or too low supply voltage
• Too low frequency
• Faulty electrical connection of motor
• Defective capacitor
