Figure 3-4 shows how to wire the digital input.
In the figure, AIDIPI_6 is shown configured as a digital input. ISO_GND (pin 10) is the
ground connection for AIDIPI_6.

3.1.4 Digital Outputs (3MIX12/3MSG12)
The 12-channel mixed I/O module includes two dedicated digital output channels.
Notes
 When using a digital output to drive an inductive load (such as a relay coil), place a
suppression diode across the load. This protects the DO from the reverse Electro-
Motive Force (EMF) spike generated when the inductive load is switched off (see DO2
in Figure 3-5.)
 Internally, the DO acts as a simple contact closure.
