2. Safely dispose of the old battery according to local regulations.
3. Slide the replacement battery in. The positive (+) side with the label must be facing
to the right side of the RTU. Push the battery access door back on.

Ensure the RTU is in a non-hazardous area. Never open the enclosure in a hazardous
area. Performing this operation in a hazardous area could result in an explosion.
DANGER TO PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT
Switch the process this RTU controls over to whatever manual/backup system you
have.
Failure to do so may result in injury to personnel or cause damage to the equipment.
