8.4 Resource block
8.4.1 PlantWeb Alerts
The PlantWeb Alerts (PWA) software supports three groups of alarms for three
severity levels: 1. Failed, 2. Maintenance, and 3. Advisory.
Each PWA can be configured for one or more of the three alarm groups. The PWA
alarms and their severity level default settings are listed in Table 8-2.

Each alarm condition must be Enabled, Disabled, or have alarm reporting
Suppressed. The PWA alarms must be Enabled to allow the corresponding alarm
conditions to be detected. The PWA alarms can be Suppressed to mask out
failures from annunciation.
Sensor Malfunction
The Sensor Alerts tab displays one of the following alerts:

Cell Open
• Comb Cell Error
This alert is active when the sensor is indicating a very high or unexpected output.
