8. 8. Optional Liner HangersOptional Liner Hangers
OPTIONAL BULLNOSE COPING SYSTEM
Typically used when the pool is installed fully in-ground,
the Bullnose Coping System (A) allows the installer to finish
with concrete and/or tile (B) right up to the water’s edge.
The Bullnose Coping System serves as both a Liner Hanger
and a finished edge (Fig. 4).
Radius corners and straight rails are precut to fit the
specific pool size ordered. The aluminum rails are fastened
down to the top flange of the pool panels with self-drilling
fasteners (C). A supporting surface beyond the top flange
of the panel (D) must be built to accommodate and support
the concrete and/or tile (Fig. 4). Refer to the Bullnose &
Wood Receiver Coping Supplemental Guide for detailed
instructions.

OPTIONAL WOOD RECEIVER COPING SYSTEM
Typically used when the pool is installed fully in-ground,
the Wood Receiver Coping System (A) allows the installer
to finish with wood or synthetic decking (B) right up to the
water’s edge. The Wood Receiver Coping System serves as
both a Liner Hanger and a finished edge (Fig. 5).
Mitered corners and straight rails are precut to fit the
specific pool size ordered. The aluminum rails are fastened
down to the top flange of the pool panels with self-drilling
fasteners (C). A supporting surface beyond the top flange
of the panel (D) must be built to accommodate and support
the decking material (Fig. 5). Refer to the Bullnose &

If the optional Hydrotherapy Jets have been ordered, it is
necessary to begin the installation of the Hydrotherapy
Jets prior to installing the pool liner. Refer to the
Hydrotherapy Jets Supplemental Guide for detailed
instructions.
10. 10. Optional Ascent Skirting SystemOptional Ascent Skirting System
Installing the Ascent Skirting is a two part process, framing
and then installing the skirting panels. Framing can be done
before or after the pool is filled. The skirting panels should
be installed AFTER the pool coping is installed. Refer to
the Ascent Skirting Supplemental Guides for detailed
instructions.
