Transmitter Promag 53 (remote version)
The Promag 53***-******G***** transmitter has a T6 temperature class rating when
installed in the EEx d housing for operation at ambient temperatures up to T
a
= 60 °C.
The maximum ambient temperature range is –20...+60 °C (depending on the area of
application).

Note:
At the specified medium temperatures, the equipment is not subjected to temperatures
impermissible for the temperature class in question.
Gas explosion protection
Determine the temperature class dependent on the ambient temperature and the
medium temperature.
Dust explosion protection
Determine the maximum surface temperature dependent on the ambient temperature
and the medium temperature.
Example:
Promag 53 P (PTFE), compact version:

= 110°C → T4 with maximum surface temperature of 135 °C.
