6 Troubleshooting

Green LED for X1 lit up without
flashing.
No communication received from
the excavator guidance system
on J1939 (X1), even though
the excavator guidance system
transmits data to the C2C. (If the
excavator guidance system does
not transmit any data but only
listens to the C2C, it shall not
flash).
Check that the external excavator
guidance system is running, that it
is properly configured and that it is
connected correctly according to
section 3.2.2. B: Connecting C2C
with cable 842174 (also check
the excavator guidance system
manufacturer’s configuration
documentation)
Green LED for X2 lit up without
flashing.
No communication received on
internal CAN Open bus (X2).
Make sure that the sensor and
DC2 (if used) are connected
according to section 3.2.
Electronics
Green LED for X2 flashes and red
LED flashes.
Look up the cause of the fault
code in the table.
Fix the error cause. Make sure
that there are no new fault codes
after the remedial action, since
only one fault code can be
displayed at a time.
Green LED for X2 flashes
and red LED is off. No values
are displayed in the external
excavator guidance system
Incorrect firmware in C2C, DC2
and/or excavator guidance
system. Improper connection to
an external excavator guidance
system.
Make sure that the correct
firmware in C2C, DC2 and
external excavator guidance
system is being used (visit https://
software.engcon.com to download
software for our products). Check
with the uConf that the correct
settings are made in the C2C for/
against the external excavator
guidance system. Make sure that
the external excavator guidance
system is transmitting data to the
C2C. (Check green LED for X1
that it is flashing)
Green LED for X2 is lit up without
flashing and red LED is flashing.
Communication received on X1
