Working in the ST1 safety weighing
enclosure
The aim of using an ST1 safety weighing enclosure is to virtually eliminate the risk of
exposure to laboratory staff. But it is not the ST1 safety weighing enclosure alone that
provides this protection. Only the combination of ST1 safety weighing enclosure, personal
protective equipment, thorough training and the additional protective measures
recommended by a1-envirosciences ensures optimal protection against contamination.

Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when
