Hiding Lines of Information
8 Press F3 (Yellow key). This will put an āXā in the box at the side of
the line you have selected. That line will not be shown on the screen.
9 Once you have input all your information press OK. This brings you
to the Comments Form.
Entering Comments
Free text entered here will appear in the final report with the observations.
10 After entering your comments press the Survey key to continue.
NOTE! Making a comment will then only allow one
snapshot observation to be displayed on the first page of
the printed report due to space requirements.
Ready for Survey
An on-screen prompt now appears saying Ready for Survey. The prompt will
inform you to press the Record key when you want to begin the survey. Press
OK to close the prompt.
You will now have a live picture with all the information you input in Step 4
showing on-screen.
Start Recording
11 Press the Record key. A red colored Recording icon will appear in the
right hand side the screen, which indicates your survey has started. After a
few seconds you can press the Text key to hide the information displayed
on-screen.
Adding a New Observation
When you come to a point where you need to add a new observation:
12 Press the Survey Forms key which will automatically pause the recording.
13 Select New Observation from the menu.
14 Press OK.
15 Input your required text into the box which appears on-screen.
16 Press the Survey Forms key to store the observation.
