Fan Off
Set the heater to Off, and by setting the Fan to Low or High so media is
dried after printing by only the fan operating at the set level. Use this if the
media could be damaged by the heater during drying.

Drying Time Set the length of time to pass through the dryer. The media passes
through the heater's range (600 mm) in the dryer for the set time. You can
set it for each number of passes.
The time needed for the ink to dry varies with ink density and the media
used. If, in the print results, the ink blurs or runs on the media, set a longer
Drying Time.
Increasing the drying time increases the time needed to print.

Select whether to feed (On)/not feed (Off) the printed areas to the dryer to
dry when printing is complete.

Drying Action Auto The printing and media feeding time operations are adjusted
automatically or according to the set drying time.

Setting
Platen Gap Set the Platen Gap (the distance between the print head and the media).
The default setting of 2.0 is recommended in most situations. If the print
results are scratched or smudged, they may be improved by setting 2.5.
However, choosing a larger gap than required may result in ink stains
inside the printer, reduced print quality, or shorter product life.
