3.4.9.9 Maintenance box 1 Holder
1. Remove the Front Cover. (p142)
2. Remove the Control Panel Cover. (p136)
3. Remove the Right Upper Cover. (p138)
4. Remove the Right Cover. (p139)
5. Remove the Left Cover. (p137)
6. Remove the Media Eject Cover. (p148)
7. Remove the Right IC Cover Frame. (p140)
8. Unlock the carriage, and move the CR Unit to the left end. (p124)
9. Remove the Home (Right) Side Cartridge Holder. (p239)
10. Disconnect the FFC (CN202) from the SUB-B Board.
11. Release the FFC from the four clamps.
12. Disconnect the FFC from the hole of the main body frame.
13. Disconnect the FFC from the ferrite core.
14. Pull out the Waste Ink Tube from the main body.

C A U T I O N
Disconnecting the Waste Ink Tube in the next step may leak ink
from the tube. Therefore, prepare a waste cloth or the like in
advance and be careful not to contaminate the surroundings.
