Power Saving
Auto-Shutdown when enabled (default), allows the EXFO EX1
device to shut down once the period of inactivity is reached. The
EXFO EX1 device shuts down when there is no activity on the
device (no HTTP communication, test not running, no firmware
update, EXFO EX1 application in closed or in background, etc.) for
the defined period. When the EXFO EX1 device is charging using
the provided USB power adapter, the Auto-Shutdown feature is
disabled.
Period, available when Auto-Shutdown is enabled, allows setting
the inactivity time before turning off the EXFO EX1 device:
1:00 min to 5:00 min (3:00 min by default) in 30-second steps.
Device Information
Displays EXFO EX1 device information and allows firmware update and
device name edition.
Software
Product Version indicates the installed EXFO EX1 device firmware
version.
Network Repository Server indicates the server address for
software update. This field is editable for technical support
purposes only. This field is editable for demo, beta, or technical
support purposes. Press the Restore to Default Server button to
retrieve the default server address.
