If the battery status LED on your EXFO Test Equipment is red, it could be due to a couple of reasons. One possibility is that the battery temperature is too high. In this case, shut down the unit by pressing and holding the power button for more than 10 seconds and/or until the power LED goes off. Another reason could be that the battery is defective. In this case, you should contact EXFO or replace the battery.
