Product-Specific Commands—Description
:ROUTe[1..n]:SCAN?
Description This query returns a value indicating the current
switch position.
On *RST, the selected output channel depends
on the switch configuration:
a) For 1xN switch configuration: Output 1.
b) For 2x4 switch configuration: no continuity for
both Input 1 and Input 2.
c) For 2x2 switch configuration: BYPASS state.

defined as a <NR1 NUMERIC RESPONSE DATA>
element.
The <Position> response represents the
currently selected channel on the switch, as
follows:
a) For a 1xN switch configuration, a number from
1 to 32, depending on the number of output
channels.
b) For a 2x4 switch, a number from 0 to 5, where
0, means no continuity for both Input 1 and
Input 2.
1, means no continuity for Input 1, and Input 2
is connected to Output 1.
