Backward
1.Movetheleverstothecenter,unlockedposition.
2.Togobackward,slowlypullthemotioncontrol
leversrearward(Figure12).
Togostraight,applyequalpressuretoboth
motioncontrollevers(Figure12).
Toturn,releasethepressureonthemotion
controllevertowardthedirectionyouwantto
turn(Figure12).
Tostop,pushthemotioncontrolleverstoneutral.
StoppingtheMachine
Tostopthemachine,movethemotioncontrol
leverstoneutralandoutwardtotheneutralposition,
disengagethebladecontrolswitch,movethethrottle
levertobetweenFastandhalfthrottle,andturnthe
ignitionkeytooff.Remembertoremovethekey
fromtheignitionswitch.
TrackingAdjustment
Ifthemachineturnsrightorleftwhenhandlesare
pushedforwardtogether,adjustthestopontheside
oppositethedirectionofturn(seeFigure13).Loosen
thescrewsthatholdthemotioncontrollimiterstop.
Movethestopbackuntiltheunitdrivesstraight.
Tightenthescrewstolockthestopinplace.Readjust
handlesifnecessary.

CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethemowerwhile

Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandmovethe

leavingthemachineunattended,evenifjust
forafewminutes.

clickintoplace.
