RemovingtheMowerDeck
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch
2.Movethemotioncontrolleversoutwardtothe
neutralposition,engageparkingbrake,stopthe
engine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Placeblocksunderdeckforsupport.Lowerthe
height-of-cutlevertothelowestposition.
4.Removethehardwarefromthedeckhangerand
deckliftarmonbothsidesofthedeck(Figure48).

5.Removethenut,bolt,andpivotbushingfromthe
deckstrut(Figure48).Carefullylowerthefront
ofthemowerdecktotheground(Figure49).

6.Slidethemowerrearwardtoremovethemower
beltfromtheenginepulley.
7.Slidethemoweroutfromunderneaththe
machine.

InstallingtheMowerDeck
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch.
2.Movethemotioncontrolleversoutwardtothe
neutralposition,engageparkingbrake,stopthe
engine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Slidethemowerunderthemachine.
4.Lowertheheight-of-cutlevertothelowest
position.
5.Usetheexistinghardwaretoattachthereardeck
strutofthemowertothedeckliftarm(Figure49).
6.Attachthehardwarefromthedeckhangerand
deckliftarmonbothsidesofthedeck(Figure48).
7.Installthemowerbeltontotheenginepulley;
refertoReplacingtheMowerBelt.
