Remove Gearbox
The gear assemblies are the same for the C-320/C-320C and the
C-380/C-380C shredders. A large white plastic gear ts over the metal drive
gear which is attached to another large white plastic gear. A deep metal gear
ts on the large cutting cylinder shaft and a smaller metal gear ts on the small
cutting cylinder shaft. The motor also has a gear shaft.
To remove the cutting assembly gearbox:
1 Remove the 6 screws and washers that hold the gearbox to the left
bearing plate.
2 Pull the gearbox away and up from the bearing plate.
3 Remove the outermost white plastic gear.
4 Remove the other white plastic gear and the metal gears that t in it.
Note: If you are unable to protect the bin full ap, remove it from
the bearing plates.
