a Press and hold the Manual Forward button for a few seconds.
b Press and hold the Reverse (R) switch in for a few seconds.
c Continue alternating between forward and reverse a few times.
5 Feed the maximum cutting capacity (e.g., 14-16 sheets of 20 of paper for
the C-320C shredder), at one time if needed to clear the birdnest.
Electrical Problems
The most common electrical problems result from an opened door, loose wires, a
defective PC board, LED PC board, control panel, and/or bin full sensors.
Verify the On/Off disconnect switch (located on the back of the shredder) is in the On
(I) position.
Check the basket to make sure it is not overlled and is properly positioned in the
cabinet. Press the Automatic (I) switch, then press the Manual Forward button to
start the shredding operation.
Check the bin full sensors by rst verifying they are clean (no paper dust). If the
bin full sensors are clean, the waste basket is not full, and the bin full LED remains
illuminated, the fault will lie with either the bin full sensors or the main PC board.
If the PC board is defective, the shredder may not run at all. Other indicators that the
PC board is defective might be if the shredder runs in reverse but not forward, the
LED lights do not turn off, the shredder runs on, or the bin full lights signal when the
bin is empty.
