To test for a faulty main PC board:
1 Plug the shredder into the power source. If the shredder has a
disconnect switch, ip it to the ON position.
2 Make sure the shredder is turned OFF at the control panel.
3 Remove the housing cover.
4 Disconnect the LED PC board from the main PC board.
5 Locate the pins where the control panel (keypad) is plugged in, and
number the pins 1 through 9 with 1 on the left (motor) side.
6 Follow this sequence to test the main PC board:
a Jump pins 1 & 8
Cutters should rotate forward continuously.
b Jump pins 1 & 9
Cutters should rotate forward (only while pins are jumped).
c Jump pins 1 & 7
Shredder should turn off (no LEDS are illuminated.
d Jump pins 1 & 6
Cutters should rotate in reverse.
To test for a faulty LED PC board:
1 Plug the shredder into the power source. If the shredder has a
disconnect switch, ip it to the ON position.
2 Make sure the shredder is turned OFF at the control panel.
3 Remove the housing cover.
4 Disconnect the control panel (keypad) from the LED PC board.
