Lubrication
Only confetti-cut shredders (C-320C and C-380C) require lubrication to ensure
proper operation. If used at or near capacity, the machines should be oiled every
time the basket is emptied, when it becomes noisy, and when it is serviced. Use
Fellowes Powershred Lubricant (#35250) or other non-aerosol vegetable-based
oil in a long-nozzle container. Do not use ammable synthetic oil, petroleum-based
products, or aerosol lubricants of any kind.
1 Turn off the shredder.
2 Lift the paper entry ap and apply oil over the full width of the cutting
cylinders through the paper entry slot.
3 Press and hold the Manual Forward button for at least 3 seconds.
4 Press and hold the Reverse button for at least 3 seconds.
5 Repeat the forward/reverse sequence 3 or more times.
Operation/Control Panel
The control panel is located on the shredder cover. The panel contains switches and
buttons, indicator LEDs, and a Ready light.
Control Panel Switches
I Automatic Turns on the auto start sensor and the green Ready light.
O Off Turns off the auto start sensor and the green Ready light.
R Reverse Runs the shredder in reverse mode. Press and hold to activate.
Manual Forward Button
Runs shredder when the button is held down.
Indicator LEDs
Ready Light (Green) Shredder is in auto start mode.
Door Ajar (Red) Waste basket door is open.
Basket Full (Red) Waste basket is full or paper has collected under the cutting
cylinders.
Paper Jam (Red) Shredder is jammed (e.g., paper capacity exceeded).
