1.3 Field bus baud rate and field bus length
Please note
The CP system sets itself automatically to one of the baud
rates listed in Fig. 1/4.
The maximum permitted field bus length depends on the
baud rate used. Fig. 1/4 shows the baud rates which can be
used.
Length of branch lines
Please note
S Please note the maximum permitted length of the field
bus cable if you connect the bus node via a branch line.
S When calculating the maximum permitted length of the
field bus cable, also take into consideration the sum of
thebranchlinelengths.
The maximum permitted length of a branch line depends on
the cable type and on the baud rate.
