2.3.4 Request diagnostic information
The diagnostic data are requested by the CP system with the
function Slave_Diag. A description of this function can be
found in chapter 3, Diagnosis with PROFIBUS-DP.
2.3.5 Cyclic exchange of data
The cyclic exchange of data is carried out with function
Data_Exchan ge. With this function, the output data for CP
systems are transferred as an octet string of length x. The
length of the octet string depends on the number of identifier
bytes.
Please note
With the function Data_Exchange, the CP system expects
the output information for the valves and electric outputs.
The input information is sent as a reply telegram to the
master.
