2.2.5 Configuration with RSNetWorx for DeviceNet with modular EDS
This section gives instructions on configuring with RSNetWorx
for DeviceNet version 4.01.00 from Rockwell.
Please note
All steps listed refer to the Allen−Bradley scanner
1747−SDN as an example. They apply accordingly to other
masters.
Insert the slave into the project/network
RSNetWorx for DeviceNet contains an assistant (EDS Wizard)
which will suppor t you in installing the
EDS files. After instal
ling the modular EDS files, you will find three entries for the
CPX terminal in the Hardware" list for configuration with
modular EDS.

With the mouse, pull the corresponding entry into the
network on the right−hand side. This configuration must
correspond to the setting of the DIL switch 3 (see Tab.1/3).
