In order to fit Festo axes e.g. type DMES−... or type DGE−...
axially, you will require couplings and coupling housings as
accessories. The motor unit is connected to the axis by means
of a clamp in the coupling housing. Additional motor flanges
are not therefore necessary. Further information can be found
in appendix
A.2 and in the operating instructions for the axis.
