3.1 Overview of installation
Warning
Before carrying out installation and maintenance work
always switch off the power supply for the electronic
components.
You can thereby avoid:
 unexpected movements of the connected actuators
 non−defined switching states of the electronic
components.
Caution
Incorrectly connected cables may damage the electronic
components and trigger off unexpected movements of the
motor.
· Use only the cables listed as accessories for connecting
the electric components of the system (see Tab.3/2).
Only in this way can you be sure that the system will
function correctly.
Caution
Earth or ground loops can under circumstances cause EMC
protective measures to become ineffective, resulting in
high compensating currents which will damage the motor
unit (e.g. with faulty power supply).
· Connect only one cable shield (control cable or supply
cable) to functional earth (FE).
The GND connection must not be connected to the hou
sing, the shield or functional earth (FE)!
