• Take care of the optical parts. Keep the optical surfaces clean at all times.
Glass surfaces of the beam splitter (30) and other optics may be cleaned with
customary optics hair pencils or cleaning rags, surface mirrors with alcohol
and hair pencil. Checking the lighting means: change blown bulbs, so as not
to affect the positioning accuracy.
6.1.4 Monthly
Check the in-line vacuum filter which is plugged into the head vacuum socket (46) in
the back plane of the Placer Control Box. The filter should be changed in case of a
gray appearance, or if it diminishes the vacuum.
6.1.5 Every 3 Months
Grease the motor spindle driving the Optics Shifting Module (motorized
configurations only).
Remove the cover from the spindle on the backside of the machine.
Apply WEICON “Allround Lubricant AL-F” grease onto the spindle.
