Safety Devices
The incubators are equipped with the following safety features:
 an overheat protection cut-out feature that shuts down the incubator completely when
excessive temperatures occur in the workspace;
 dual fuses rated at 16 amperes.
Work Space Atmosphere
To ensure undisturbed operation, the ambient temperature in the operating room must be at least
18 °C (64.4 °F).
The heating system uses this temperature threshold to control the ambient temperature plus 7 °C
(12.6 °F) up to the maximum of 75 °C (167 °F) for gravity convection incubators.
