NOTE:
When the System Power Switch is placed in the On position
the SGA will unlock from the stowed position and will rotate
to the home (POS) position. The display will contain video
from the CCD camera.
c. Turn HCU System Power Switch to ON.
d. Once the system is on and the display is activated, brightness and
contrast can be adjusted. Brightness and contrast adjustments are
dependent upon ambient light conditions. As ambient light
conditions change, brightness and contrast may need to be adjusted.
Adjustment of the video monitor brightness and contrast should not
be compensated for by unusual adjustment of the IR Gain and Level
controls. Using the IR Gain and Level controls to compensate for
monitor brightness and contrast can result in compromises in display
performance and the production of acceptable videotapes.
3.4 System Reset Procedure
Reset system power when the SeaFLIR II Imaging System has become
unresponsive. This action resets the system’s computers and the
system should return to normal operation. To reset the SeaFLIR II
Imaging System use the following procedure:
NOTE:
When the System Power switch is placed in the RST
position it removes electrical power from SeaFLIR II Imaging
System. The power relay’s control circuit draws a minimum
amount of electrical power. The power relay removes all
electrical power from the system computer and other
functional control and drive circuits.
a. Depress the button on the Power Switch and turn the Power Switch
to the RST position.
b. After approximately three seconds, return System Power Switch to
ON. (It is not necessary to stop in the Off or Standby positions during
reset.)
