3.9.2  Radar Bearing Single-Shot Mode 
In Radar Bearing Single-Shot Mode the SeaFLIR II system must be set 
to receive a radar input but need not have Radar Bearing selected when 
the Radar Bearing is sent.  Notification by the radar operator that he has 
target of interest will allow the SeaFLIR II operator to select Radar 
Bearing mode and then press the SYM switch to accept the radar 
bearing and slew to the target (Figure 3-35).  All subsequent ARPA 
targets are ignored until the operator chooses to accept the input, Press 
SYM Switch, to acquire the next target.  An asterisk will show at the right 
side (* RAD:ON_LINE  * SINGL) when new data is available in Single 
Shot mode. 
* RAD:ON_LINE  * SINGL  Pressing SYM switch accepts radar input 
and positions Gimbal to the new radar bearing.  
3.9.3  Radar Bearing Continuous Mode 
In Radar Bearing Continuous Mode the SeaFLIR II system must be set 
to Radar Bearing to receive a radar input.  The radar continuously 
updates the SGA and is slaved to the ARPA (radar) track.  When the 
SeaFLIR II is slaved to the radar *  RAD:ON_LINE   CONT will be
