Setup Menu > Self Test and Diagnostics
The Self Test and Diagnostics menu (Setup Menu > Self Test and Diagnostics) is the fourth choice
of the list of submenus on the left of the Setup Menu. The Self Test and Diagnostics menu includes:
• Touch Screen Test
Test the touch interaction with the Display and visually confirm the functionality.
• Key/Bell/Knob Tests
• Key Test
• Knob Test
• Beeper Test
Test each of the front-panel keys, the rotary knob, and the beeper.
• Diagnostics
Run checks on the Calibrator functions. Follow on-screen instructions to run Diagnostics.
•LED Test
To run the test:
1. Tap the Run button.
2. Tap Next to visually confirm each set of LEDs on the front terminal lights up matching the on-
screen representation. You may exit this test at any time.
• Color Test
This is an automatic test the goes through a range of colors and when finished, goes back to the
main Self Test and Diagnostic screen.
• Diagnostic Fault Action
•Halt
• Continue
• Abort
Select the desired Product response to errors that are encountered during Diagnostics.
Once started, Diagnostics may be aborted at any time. If you select the Diagnostic Fault Action of
Halt, a Continue button appears when an error is encountered. This allows Diagnostics to either
be aborted or continued. If you select Continue as the default action, errors will not display until
Diagnostics are complete. A Diagnostic Fault Action of Abort results in Diagnostics aborting when
an error is encountered.
