For Figure 10, connection wiring must match the thermocouple type (for example, K, J).
RMS Versus p-p Amplitude
The Calibrator ranges for sinusoidal ac functions are specified in rms (root-mean-square; the effective
value of the waveform). For example, 12 mV, 120 mV, 1.2 V, and so forth. The relationship between
p-p and rms for square wave is p-p x 0.5 = rms.
