Calibrate a 77 Series IV DMM
Note
This is an example procedure. The 77 Series IV Calibration Information Manual contains the
authoritative verification and adjustment procedures for that product.
This example uses the Fluke 55XXA/DMMCAL cable assembly and the Product to verify a Fluke 77
Series IV DMM.
55XXA/DMMCAL Cable Assembly

To prevent electric shock, fire, or personal injury, make sure the product is in Standby before
making any connection between the product and tester.
Use the 55XXA/DMMCAL cable assembly to connect the DUT to the Calibrator. See Figure 13.
1. Connect the stackable double banana plug labeled DMM SENSE to the DUT inputs: zand
COM.
2. Stack the double banana plug labeled DMM INPUT into the DMM SENSE plug from step 1.
3. Connect the single banana plug labeled LO I INPUT to the DUT 400mA input.
4. Connect the single banana plug labeled HI I INPUT to the DUT 10A input.
