4. Flying ELIOS 3
Every ELIOS 3 pilot must complete Flyability’s “Introductory training” course before operating the drone.
Different training options are available and all the details can be found on our website under the training
section.
4.1. Power button
ELIOS 3 is equipped with a power button. Press this button to switch on the drone before takeoff.

Pressing the power button will power up all the electronics and payloads on the drone, which will needlessly
drain the battery if done too long before take-off. We recommend turning on the drone shortly before flight.
Please be aware that the drone will automatically shut down after 5 minutes of inactivity, unless you keep
wiggling the sticks of the remote control (this will prevent it from turning off).
