ELIOS 3 User Manual
If you are installing the Cockpit on a tablet that hasn’t been provided by us, please make sure to follow those
extra steps: *
DEVELOPER MODE
Select the About Tablet option on the Settings Menu. Once that is done, click on the “Software information”
option, and then on the “Build Number 10 times, until the system tells you that the Developer mode has been
turned on. Now the Developer options tab will be showing, and this is where you will be able to activate the USB
tethering.
USB TETHERING
Make sure to change the default USB configuration to have the “USB tethering” as your default USB mode. To
do so, click on the Tablet Settings, and then activate the Developer Options (following the steps indicated in the
above section), and then scroll down on the right menu until you find the networking menu. There, you will find
the Default USB configuration. Make sure to click on this button, and then it will redirect you to a page in which
you have to enable the USB tethering.
*Note: These additional setup steps are not required if you are using a tablet that we have provided.
