12 Decommissioning and disposing of the franking
machine
To ultimately decommission the PostBase franking machine, you must correctly
unsubscribe all postal services. PostBase will guide you through all required
decommissioning steps in a dialog. We are pleased to assist if required. Please
contact the service.
In case of a rented or leased franking machine, please make sure to always contact
the service.
Caution! Run the ‘Withdraw machine’ function only if you really want to
decommission the PostBase. Commissioning the franking machine after
decommissioning is only possible by calling a service technician at extra
costs.
