CAUTION
Stop the vehicle and set the parking brake before
selecting the neutral (N) position on the transfer
case range switch to prevent the vehicle from
rolling, and causing damage and/or personal
injury.
Use the range switch when the steering axle has
been engaged.
There are two possible transfer case range switches:
a two-position rocker switch with LO and Hi range, or
a three-position switch that has a third, neutral (N)
position, for vehicles with a PTO unit. See
Fig. 4.21.
