7 Cleaning
7.1 CompoSeal Universal
Removing the sealing
cover
Insert a thin pin through the opening on the sealing head cover. While
loosening the latch, pull the sealing head cover to the top out of the
guide (2).
Cleaning the electrodes Use a cotton applicator dampened with alcohol for cleaning the
electrodes. After having been cleaned, the electrodes must be dried.
7.2 Hand sealer
Assembled Disconnect the hand sealer from the exchangeable cable.
Hold the hand sealer with the jaws facing forward exposing the sealing
cavity.
Clean the sealing cavity and the surrounding area with a cotton
applicator dampened with alcohol. Make sure to dry the cleaned
surfaces using another cotton applicator.
When the surfaces are clean and dry, the device can be used again. If
unable to clean satisfactorily, disassemble the hand sealer for thorough
cleaning.
Disassembled After the hand sealer has been disassembled, the individual
components can be cleaned with a cotton applicator dampened with
alcohol.
Dry the individual components with a clean cloth before reassembling
the hand sealer.
