26 FRITZ!Box Fon – 2 Starting FRITZ!Box Fon Operation
Keep your Windows CD ready.
2. When asked: “What do you want Windows to do?”, se-
lect the option “Search for the best driver for your device.
(Recommended).”
3. When the program asks where the driver is located, ac-
tivate only the option “CD-ROM drive”.

4. If you are asked which driver you want to install, choose
the option “The updated driver (Recommended)
FRITZ!Box Fon” and click “Next” twice.
The drivers for FRITZ!Box Fon are installed.
5. Conclude the installation by clicking “Finish”.
When the computer is restarted, FRITZ!Box Fon is connected
and ready for operation.
You can only connect to the Internet if Internet access is con-
figured. See the section “Basic Configuration of FRITZ!Box
Fon” on page 28 for information about how to configure an
Internet connection.
