Shearbolts
Check the shearbolts indicated on the
figure below at frequent intervals for
proper tightness to be sure the blower is
in safe working condition. If the shearbolts
need replacement, use the following parts
only:
Drive shaft
:
Shearbolt hex. 5/16" NC x 1 1/4" gr.2 ,
incl. nut. Part # 5RD669345.
Driveline
:
Shearbolt M10 x 1.5 x 55 mm gr. 8.8 and
nut. Part # 5RD657199.
WARNING
Provide adequate blocking before working under the
snowblower when in the raised position.
Driveline
IMPORTANT: When the snowblower is not used for
more than two weeks, perform driveline maintenance
and always store it in a dry place, away from bad
weather conditions.
