6 Hold the center part on the top of a new
container and insert it until it stops.
7 Close the waste toner container door.
8 Close the machine front door.
Note • A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the machine front door is even
slightly open.
Replacing Drum Cartridges (for Customers Having a Spot Maintenance
Contract)
The machine displays the message "Please order a Drum Cartridge Rx" when a drum
cartridge needs to be replaced. When the message is displayed, contact our Customer
Support Center.
The following table shows the approximate number of pages that can be copied or printed
without replacing the drum cartridge after the message is displayed on the touch screen.
You may continue to copy or print after the number of pages in the following table, but the
print quality is not guaranteed. We recommend that you replace the drum cartridge ahead
of time.
If you have a spot maintenance contract, refer to this section, and then confirm the
indicated drum cartridge position ([R1]/[R2]/[R3]/[R4]) and replace the corresponding drum
cartridge.
