2. If paper is jammed inside the fuser unit,
hold the projection on its right side and
open the duplex unit cover.
3. Lift up the levers on both sides of the fuser
unit.
Important
• The fuser unit is hot. Do not touch it or you will get
burnt.
4. Hold the lever E on the left side of the fuser
cover and open the fuser cover. While
holding the cover open, use your other
hand to remove the jammed paper.
5. Place the levers on both sides of the duplex
unit to their original positions.
6. Close the duplex unit and then the front
cover.
Important
• When closing the front cover, be careful not to get your
fingers caught between (the left, right, top, or bottom
edge of) the cover and the printer.
